"Before I could ask another question, Graham said he would go to hell. This concerned him, so I shared the beautiful gospel with him.."
"Life can be so treacherous at times that all we can do is focus on the next step. This is where God’s faithfulness shines brightest, for He promises that His Word will be a lamp to our feet, and a light to our path"
"He understood he was going to hell, and that the only way for him to escape the wrath was through faith in Christ. When I asked him if he believed it, he said ‘nah’, and moved on. I stood there stunned for a while, then prayed for him."
"One of the students had a bluetooth speaker, and they started playing extreme sexually expicit music. One of the other girls began an explicit dance on the ground. I couldn’t watch, so i lifted the sign in front of my face to shield my eyes from it."
"This gentleman was an evangelists dream! He was convicted by the law, and understood that he would be in big trouble on Judgement Day. He knew he needed to repent and place his faith in Christ, otherwise he would end up in hell. I asked him when he was going to do this, and he said right now! I explained the importance of feeding on the scriptures, and getting hooked into a biblical church. We shook hands, and I promised I was going to pray for him."
"I told him that by his own admission he was not a good person, but he kept justifying his actions by saying God is forgiving. It was obvious to me that he didn't want to talk anymore, so I implored him to read the first three chapters of Romans before he went to sleep tonight. O Lord, please remove the blinkers from Levi's eyes!"
"She said her mum had died. I said I was very sorry to hear that. She said "yeah, and my younger sister was killed in a car crash". I shook my head, and couldn't speak. Then she said "Yeah, and my baby sister has a sickness and is going to die". I just sat there with my mouth open, trying to hold back the tears."
"You know that you do not meet God's expectations. You know you are getting judged for breaking His laws. But your self-righteousness is preventing you from submitting to His authourity. Therefore you are in danger of incurring His wrath on Judgement Day. I don't want that to happen. "
The good news of the Gospel is the greatest news anyone can ever hear. Why? Because it’s not about us. If it was, it would be a story of brokenness, sinfulness, and death. And that would be the end of the story.
"When you go to bed tonight Roger, I can guarantee you're going to think about what we talked about. You'll be thinking about facing God after you die. And you'll be thinking about what He will say to you, and where He will send you."
