As per usual, he thought changing his ways and asking for forgiveness would suffice to entering heaven. I pointed out how this wouldn’t work. When I told him the only way was if someone took his hell punishment for him, he looked relieved. So did the other three, who were pretending not to listen.
Thinking about this can be enough to make your brain hurt. But all we need to do is apply logic to this scenario. If someone always existed, then they wouldn’t need a beginning.
It was chaos in the room, as they all wanted to talk to (or at) me at the same time. I had to ask them to talk one at a time. One guy came close and took over that chat, so I was able to get him to admit he was going to hell for all the wrong he had done.
I said the same applies with God; all the good you do won’t undo the fact that you have a criminal record that the perfect, just judge of the universe will hold you accountable for. There is only one way to remove your hell punishment. He said “”Please tell me how!”
"Does God love transgender people?". This confirmed my earlier uneasiness. I said "Yes, as much as He loves liars, thieves and blasphemers. So much so, that He offers to take their hell punishment for them. And where do they go if they accept the gift?" "Heaven!", she answered.
He told me he believed in justice, but was deep into reincarnation and his good works, which is a self-defeating strawman argument. Unfortunately, he wasn't mature enough to see the folly of this.
I asked if he will make it to heaven. He said yes because Jesus has saved him, and he doesn't sin anymore (!) The last person I heard saying this was the heretical Joyce Meyer.
I gave him the good news of Christ taking his hell punishment for him. He agreed that unless he placed his faith in Him, he would go to hell. But him making the step of accepting God's gift was beyond him.
How many times did Jesus need to die on the cross for you? Exactly - one! That would mean a tremendous saving power would be needed to save every sin of every person who comes to God! And that’s exactly what happened..
